They do give a credit to Patrick Mcgoohan. The music doesn't add anything.

All I can say is WHY?

Did they have permission to copy it?

Are they so devoid of ideas that they had to copy The Prisoner?

Hah: " All photos Copyright 2011
Do Not Forsake Me Oh My Darling"

Not so, unless there was a contract with Patrick McGoohan's estate, this is a derivative work so under the terms of International Copyright law, the copyright on this belongs to the ORIGINAL copyright owners.

Man you guys are critical. Sure the music isn't to my liking and I'm not sure why they did it. I'm just glad they kept the 7/Caterham.

I thought it was a nice tribute. The behind the scenes stuff was interesting too, nice model making and set dressing.

Shame she sings like Jeremy Hardy!

Cool though - thanks for posting Fred

Thanks Fred, an enjoyable diversion.

No such thing as International Copyright law, I'm afraid it's all a bit of a mess in just about every individual country; and this forum is not really the place to regurgitate it all again. :)

They say they found one of the LAST 42 CATERHAM SEVENS in the world.

Surely that isn't right, there must be lots more around than that.

Yeah I was a bit over simplifying there, its actually the Geneva Convention I think, where they agree roughly the same terms on Copyright laws in different countries.

Bill
It may be the prisoner special edition made in the early nineties http://www.thecaterhamregister.net/prisoner.htm
But it would have been better with an earlier car with bench seats ........ like mine

I thought the number plate of KAR120C was owned by either Caterham or Graham Nearn on an individual basis. So to use a car with that reg number would have required some form of permission.

Also - unless I'm mistaken - the arial shots seem to show the car being driven by someone wearing a blond wig ? All the shots of the singer driving the car are at pretty much walking pace. Can she actually drive ?

Totally agree. But, as they say, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

(I don't know about the rest of you, but when I watch the opening I always turn the volume up so when the 7 goes through the tunnel I get an earful.....just love that sound.)

Fred, thanks for posting.
