With the recent Jackie Oliver 2nd place at the Goodwood Revival meeting at the weekend I thought I would have a punt at tracing a missing piece of history about my car
I have a lovely history file with my car and a letter from every owner accept for the original owner and the second owner a mechanic working for F1 Arrows which i guess is a Jackie Oliver connection who acquired the car 1985 slightly fire damaged his restoration new bonnet new chassis and majority of engine bay parts inc powermax pistons never got finished due to f1 commitments and he sold the car to his friend which is the furthest i have got back in my cars history
If I find this mechanic I might find the original owner as well
Any help in this investigation would come as great interest
Thank for your time.

Contact Andy Graham at Lotus. As the Archivist he has access to records for some, though not all, cars and who they were delivered to. If a named individual, that would help your quest. If a dealer it might be trickier; if they still exist they might have records still. Worth a try.
Good luck
Tim
