S4 Restoration

I am helping another friend get his 1969 Elan back on the road (USA) . The links to his headlight pods for the single vacuum pod system are missing. These are the ball joint links from the cross rod to the pods. Anyone have a source for the parts to build replacements? They look like standard race cars, home built parts. Trying to not reinvent the wheel.

www.rdent.com has them. Go to Elan parts and scroll down. They're nicely made with a turnbuckle and heim joints at either end.

Hi,

Aircraft spruce sell an Aurora rod end bearing. If it's 3/16 diameter you need MW3 or if a 1/4" then MW4

The AMG8/6 (M8)- it has a longer stud for more adjustment

The original ones are 5/16 UNC approx the same size as M8 .... or there abouts

Having said that , if I were in the US I would order R Dent's as they look great!
