Wots it all about

Found water on the front chassis box, as well as the garage floor (only after a run out), and water in the drivers foot well. Perished heater hoses and a weep on the bottom rad hose where the initial symptoms
So I thought I would sort it out myself, a set of new hoses. (Easy job!!)
Got a lovely set of hoses off of Clive took the rad off and gave it a good flush, had to remove the dash to remove the adhered old rubber from the heater nipples, whilst it was off I replaced the rubber grommets in the outer steering column grommets around the oil gauge lines etc to reduce draughts around me feet, done a realy good job, any rough nuts washers spring washers etc all replaced sweet. Except...
Loads of wires came off the back of the dash when I removed it got everything eventually back everything working but no ignition spark, traced that wires had fallen off the de mobilise switch, sorted, everything ok except no tacho now and the car still runs like s*** and i still have water on my front chassis, suspect water pump because it does wobble a little bit..
I accept this as a 1 step forward 2 steps back procedure
2 ? days to change heater hoses, don?t laugh. Enjoyed getting involved with the car though and learnt a lot.
I need somebody to overhaul my engine, while the water pump is being overhauled i think it would be prudent to get engine checked over and a reseal she is blowing out a bit of oil, might as well do the clutch as well if the lump comes out. Can anybody recommend somebody to do this for me and get my car running sweet again? I have not got the time or bottle to attempt these jobs myself need a nice approachable clever clogs garage any recomendations ill give them a shout .. cheers..
