Leaks on slope.

PostPost by: Galwaylotus » Sun Apr 03, 2011 3:22 pm

At home I park my Ean on a slight slope with the right front corner at the lowest point. No matter what I did, even with a big drip tray underneath the engine bay, I ended up with oil stains on the brick drive. I put the car into winter storage a few months ago - in a garage with a painted concrete level floor - and thought to check underneath a couple of weeks ago when I was out paying the rent. Absloutely clean and dry! Any ideas? :?

My guess is it's simply that the engine has not been running while the car was in storage and therefore not leaking - probably nothing to do with being level or not.
