Just came back from the 6 hours race at SPA: Great cars & drivers, wonderful track, less wonderful wheather (last 2 hours full of rain!). There were six Elans: The seven (!) GT40's were impossible to catch but two of the Elans had left all the Cobras and Shelby Mustangs behind them... Wonderful! Hope you'll enjoy the pics.

Great looking cars! Did you get some pics of their suspension components ?? Were they running adjustable wishbones ?

Hi Dag, sadly I've taken no detailed pics (next time, I'll change this), was sure to regret this. The silver and the red/white one were running adjustable wishbones, for the white one I didn't get a chance to look under it (same for the goldbugs below - was born too late...).
BTW: I know your car from Spa some years ago, is this possible?

During the last years there were always some well prepared scandinavian Elans: A dark grey and a green/yellow one (chequered flag roof) together with a matching pair of De Tomaso Pantera Group 4's. The blue/orange one from the Eifelrace was also at Spa last weekend.

- think they were both Swedish. The green/ yellow with checkered roof belonged to ( now sold) Rolf "Myggan" Nilsson, an excellent driver with loooooong racing experience from rally-cross etc. etc. Very (!) fast....
