very nice model indeed. Hefty price though. I'd rather spend it on my 1:1 model to be honest.
Weber overhaul and a center console for example would do the trick.

Does not look like the door, bonnet or boot open from the photos? For that price I would want everything to work ....
Buy a Sunstar model for lot less.

I've only just taken a closer look at the Photos of the Model & like yourself I think it's a pretty poor job especially considering that it's 1/8 Scale.
The "Sunstar" Elan is really very good considering the price.
The bloomin' Windscreen with it's bulbous double curvature, really let's it down though.
Any Modelers on here who can correct that fault?
I wanted to paint my "Sunstar" the same colour of my 1/1 Elan but it''s a bugger to pull to pieces & there was no answer from the Maker when I asked if they could provide replacement Decals etc.
