It had either reached 15,000 miles and the clutch had worn out, or 30 and the engine had lunched itself....
How many ads for exotica do you see where they state that the "clutch has just been replaced", or the "engine overhauled", and then state the mileage which is invariably bugger all.
I'd be banging on the door of Messrs Ferrari/Lamborghini threatening court action as the obscenely overpriced car I was stupid enough to buy off them wasn't "fit for purpose".
