Shot some video of the completed car, so though member might be enjoy, be interested in the medium - the resolution is not what I would ultimately like , but then again the files get quite large . resolution is 480X640 - Two Links below -
walk around - sorry about noise from crunchy leaves -

Start up from cold - It takes a while for this motor to warm up an idle, but thought sensory appeal might be there .... My version of Imovie did not like the raw format coming off the camera so had to use a shot or lose sound ( import strips off audio and saves as corrupt file.)

Thanks, Ian -
Truth be told I spent about a 1/3 of the time on this one versus the Medici Blue one I did in 07. Everyone who comes into the garage especially the gals , prefer the red over the blue ( I haveen given up pointing out teh merits of the s1 at this point).
As for the fit , the early cars will save you time here, they just fit together better than the later ones, I can hang and adjust both doors in less than 90 minutes....

Why do you have the gear lever cranked back at an angle?

Superb!
I guess the exhaust is not even close to original, or am I missing out some elementary knowledge here?
Is there a special reason for the exhaust or just because is sounding better/looking cooler?
Must say I love the car and the sound.
Congratulations to a job well done!

My one problem is that distance keeps me from my Elan. (36/5395)
