broken elan s4 for sale

My '69 Elan S4 in Gold Leaf colours (Big valve head) has just had a severe rear end shunt, and I expect the insurers to write her off next week. She will definitely need a new body shell, and the rear o/s brake disc and caliper are shattered. Good engine, gearbox etc. She's been totally reliable, the engine was rebuilt 30k miles ago, and she's fuelled by Webers. I do not have the skills to rebuild her and would like to think she can be mended by someone who wants to keep a classic baby Elan on the road rather than dismantled by car breakers. I'm not looking for a profit, but I realise that the engine etc has some value. I am prepared to share transport costs if necessary. Any comments/ takers?
