I just posted original Lotus PR photos that show the process of manufacturing an Elan S1 body. The photos are courtesy of Mike Ostrov's Historic Lotus Collection.

It's fascinating to see how the body was molded (moulded for those in the UK). You can see why our doors NEVER fit properly!

Thanks Kiyoshi - really interesting, as with all moulding process' you have to think negative .. Mark
