Window lift motor mounting

Hi all, I thought I would post this photo as I had my door panel
off. This is an additional mount to secure the window lift motor to
the inside of the door shell. It is labeled "Window Lift Motor
Mount" in the Files section. My friend, a long time ago Lotus owner
commented to me how he never had heard and Elan door close as solid
sounding as mine. Before I made this it would rattle as the inertia
of the motor flexed the metal it was mounted to. This also
eliminates or reduces the chance of metal fatigue. I used machine
screws and fender washers to secure the mount to the door and a band
clamp (jubilee clip) to secure the mount to the motor.
