Hi Scott,

I'm converting my '69 S4SE to Dellortos - I'd consider selling my Stromberg
airbox (and anything else I won't be needing).
Got any idea what it's worth? Feel free to chime in on this, gang!

Well, in that case you also need to part with you cylinder head ?
I'm in trouble (again) with my Strombergs and I wonder if there is a
'little' chance to have Webers on a ZS head apart from changing everything.
There is a kind of 'adapter' 2in long btw the ZS and the head with a
balancing pipe. Any chance to change this part and replace it with a Weber
adapter or will the total length will not fit under the bonnet ?

Yann,

Sorry, but simply replacing the adapter will not work. You have two
options. If you care about originality, replace the Stromberg cylinder
head with a Weber cylinder head. If you aren't overly concerned with
originality, you can have the Stromberg head machined so it will accept a
bolt on Weber/Dellorto intake manifold. Omnitech Engineering does such a
conversion. They machine off the integral Stromberg intake manifold,
modify the head to accept a bolt-on Weber manifold and modify the intake
ports.

Pictures show the head after it's conversion to a Weber head with bolt on
intake manifold.

If I was buying, I'd tell you it was worthless, as I'm not buying, they're rather hard to get hold of, and a pain to make. Perhaps $80 would be sensible.
