TTR shafts - additionnal note

Stuart,

I neglected to mention that TTR recommends that the damper shafts be
shortened to limit droop when the solid driveshafts are installed.

The amount of drop available in various shock absorbers seems to vary
slightly and this can give problems for donut replacements. On a plus 2 this
is not so much an issue due to the longer drive shafts and thus more limit
angles of deflection. On my Elan running with Spax adjustable rear struts I
needed to fit a restaining cable to limit the last half inch of travel to
stop the CV joints locking on extreme droop while cornering hard. Other cars
with diffferent shock absorbers dont appear to need this with the similar
Col Croucher Cv joint conversion.
