Hi,
FWIW - Just bought/read 2 articles in August 01 magazine:
1.0 - "Third time Lucky" - Zetec engined Evante might be reborn.
Depends on "reaction to prospect of it in kit-form"
2.0 - "Replacement Chassis for Plus2" - shorter version of previous
Zetec in Spyder article.
Note that these are in "Kit-Car" mag, not any of the "Classic" this,
that or t'other.
Richard

The magazine you refer to must be a UK publication. The August issue of Kit
Car magazine in the US does not contain such articles. Any chance you can
scan them in for others to share?

Ed,
<http://www.evante.co.uk> will be up and running by end of July (it
says) also e-mail is "***@***.***" (hope this helps -
trying to avoid another mag with pages removed (can't get a decent
scan without)
The project champion is ex-racer Jeremy Snow who seems to have
acquired rights from "Fleur de Lys" (Vintage Style Vans!)
"All he now needs are the funds to get it up and running, premises
and customers" - it says. Presumably customers who want a kit car.
This is a bit removed from Mr.Robinsons idea, who likened his Evante
to a sort of Aston Martin!

Perfect designation. Who will be the first to produce the badge?

Brian,
Good question. I'd prefer to see something akin to the
Banks Europa to give some "product differentiation".

Thanks for the response on the articles. For those of us in the US the
August 2001 issue of Practical Classics (issue with the Zetec powered Plus
2) is due out any day now. The Barnes and Noble bookstores carry the
magazine.
