Bill,

I have the heater unit from my '65 Elan S2 burned parts car. Since it
was a road fire, started in the engine bay, the plastic knobs on the
heater doors didn't survive and I would have a radiator shop check the
cores etc. I'm pretty sure that the motor is the same as most Brit cars
such as AH Sprite, MGB, Midget etc. The cabinet of the heater has two
smaller heater cores inside, but I think the heater box(cabinet) is
unique to the Elan. You can have it cheap. Where are you?

Roger

The reason I asked was I know a Bill Mack in Cleveland. A good friend
of a friend. I'm in Columbus. Would you like some photos of the heater
box? Probably can't do that until after Sebring, trying to leave
Saturday, but let me know and remind me when I return about 3-21.

Roger

I am using my Elan 1965 for racing and cannot afford the weight of a heater. To keep the front
windshield clear in cold or moist air I have installed an electrically heated front windshield.

I seem to remember reading somewhere the baby elan heater matrix was also
used in the Triumph Spitfire and the Reliant Robin (!), but I don't know if
this is correct.

Roger,
pictures would be nice, but I'm willing to just buy the thing if you say it's
decent.I have plenty of odds and ends to fix it up.
