front suspension measurements vs alignment degrees

How do millimeters of suspension relate to degrees of alignment--there is
half degree variance allowed in the alignment caster and camber--anybody know
what this equates to in terms of how many millimeters off suspension can be
(like distance between upper pins) and alignment still correct? Thanks Gordon
