Mine cost about $550 a few years ago. Expensive, but excellent quality.

Has anyone purchased a dash from Prestige Autowood for their Elan or Elan +2?
What did it cost?

We paid approximately $625 for an African Rosewood dash for my 1969
Elan S4. (You can see it in Photos, album STEVE'S 1969 ELAN.)
We asked for some changes (i.e. additional switch holes and no
ashtray) and the Rosewood was more expensive. The only problem we
had was the right most mounting screw hole was about 1/8" off which
required that we drill through the bobbin and put a nut on the back
of the bolt. We're not sure if that was his problem or the car's.
The quality is excellent and the finish is perfect. I'm pretty
handy with wood, but by the time I'd have bought the materials the
difference in price would not have been worth it to us. If I had to
do another dash, I'd buy from them again.

I purchased a baby Elan dashboard about 2 years ago with fiddleback Koa and2 extra holes for instruments instead of a radio for $600. Amazing quality. I am very happy with the results.
