Well Paul,

I did have a squeak in my rear springs due to springs buckling and scraping the shock tube. I had got a set of PTFE sleeves from Don Pringle in the US, which I intended to fit on the shock tubes. However when I went to change the rear springs (going to a higher rate) the max length available was 14", so I had 2" ally spacer made up to restore the ride height. (The original springs supplied by Spyder on the Spax adjustables were 16 ")

Result was that the shorter springs showed no sign of buckling and the squeak was gone !
