Spyder Rear Seat belts and original front seat belts

Dear All,
I picked up the rear seatbelt mounting kit from Spyder at the weekend,
and wondered whether anyone here has fitted it? It looks pretty well put
together, but intructions were only verbal!
Also on Sunday, my orginal front seatbelt died (There was a "ptwang"
noise and it no longer retracts). Does anyone know whether I can get it
rebuild, or better still, a new mechanism put on while reatining the
original airplane style buckle?
Cheers
