Elan Needed for TV appearance

Hi all,
I'm part of the production team for Wheeler Dealers. As part of the new series we're featuring a '68 S4 Elan. For those of you not aware Wheeler Dealers is a program where we buy iconic cars, fix their faults and then sell them on for a profit.
At the beggining of the episode we always film a 'pristine version' of the featured vehicle. This is to show the viewer how good the vehicle can look and what we're trying to achieve by the end of the program.
As such we need an Elan, preferably an S4, to film that is in good condition (possibly having undergone a resto). If you have such a car and want to have it featured on TV, please PM with your availability over the rest of this week and next. We would only require you for half a day and would supply a DVD of the finished program after its aired as a memento.
Look forward to hearing from you.

I sometimes despair on this Forum
Here's someone wanting to put a Program on British TV about our Iconic little Elans.
I'm thrilled at the thought of what I expect to be at least two 1/2 Hour slots showing the Elan off to possibly millions of Viewers, how much more can you ask for?
I understand that the Shoot will be in Surrey & if I was in the area with a spotless S4 or Sprint I'd jump at the chance of my car featuring on National TV.
Let's give this Guy all the support we can muster
Cheers
John

I would love to have my Sprint in there, as I do like the program and let Mike have a blast in it.
However The Netherlands isn't exactly close to Surrey is it?
I am glad they selected this iconic car to have a go at it and bring it back to its former glory.
The only fear is for them to maintain their budget.

I may be able to help as well.
My car is a 1968 S4 in Gold Leaf colours, rebuild completed (is it ever finished?) about 18 months ago.
I am near Portsmouth, can you confirm where the shoot will be?
Regards
Bruce

Hi all,
Just to let you know we found an Elan that fitted the bill and we were able to film with it over the weekend. Thank you for everyone who showed an interest and we'll let you know when the show is scheduled to be broadcast.
Regards,
Matt

Thank you Matt for the update, glad you could find a car.
Good luck with the production of the episode, looking forward to seeing it here in the flat lands of Holland

Just to close the loop, it was my Elan which they filmed. I had a very enjoyable morning last Friday working with the team down in Chobham (Long cross circuit). The programme is due to go out sometime in the Autumn as they are making 10 programmes in two batches of 5. The first of the first 5 screened last night on Discovery Channel - UK where they refurbed a Jensen Intercepter.
The credits at the beginning show a cartoon Elan (red over white) which is representative of the one they are currently restoring. I did not see the car as the rebuild happens elsewhere.
