Gearbox - Lost 3rd Gear

Pulled the motor this weekend with the help of Steve Lyle. Thanks, Steve.
As suspected third gear was toothless. Now on to determining what happened. This was supposed to be a completely new gearset and was built by a fellow here in the States with known history.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the entire gearset is not destroyed.
