Winton Historic Meeing 2014

A few photos from Winton last week. Had a good weekends racing until the last race on Sunday when I got punted by a car behind me and spun off the track and slid about 200 metres in the grass and mud backwards just stopping a metre from the concrete wall. Luckily no significant damage to the car, just a small crack in the rear where I was hit.

And I thought historic racing was a pursuit for gentlemen

Nice pics! And looks a fun mix of cars.

People keep mentioning the gentleman thing - and getting punted into a spin doesn't sound like it is much better down your way.

Sorry to be rather late to this one Rohan, and sorry to hear you got punted - doubtless by a metal car who overestimated his own ability to pull up It seems to happen too often to our cars....

Anyway, I hope the car (and driver!) will be back soon! Any chance of you coming up to the Tasman Revival later this month?

Just finished having a great weekend at Sandown Historic Meeting, unfortunately I cant afford another long weekend and come up to Sydney.

Thanks Rohan - quite understand about the trek to Sydney - am supposed to be going to WInton this weekend but with a slipped disc might be problematic
