L1 cams and weber jets

Hi all,
Can someone please help me with the correct size emulsion tubes, jets, chokes etc..etc..to make my engine run a little better than it presently does as it is running on standard tubes and settings..badly
I have L1 cams fitted and 40DCOE Weber carbs. Head has been ported properly just that the carbs that were fitted to this particular head are no longer with the engine

Hi Gino, check out Keith Franck's site. He has developed what you are looking for. Last weekend he install the latest E-Tubes. It was idling smoothly at 400 rpm--Keith adjusted to 900. I can, in a rolling fourth gear at 900 rpm apply gas and it does not buck and smoothly pulls strong through all gears with no flat spots. It has never run so well.
As for mpg, it started at 25 mpg, the next set jumped to 30 mpg and the last set produced 36 mpg us gal.

Hi Gino,
These pages may help you a little, one is a letter regarding fitting L1 & L2 cams which was sent to a friend of mine when he bought L2 cams many years ago.
The other I think is 26R specs which I think I got here on the forum???
I myself have L1 cams in my S2 although I had to play about as the engine is not quite standard,.
