Racing in the wet

Good to see how the formula 1 guys handle the rain in Malaysia. No much better than us poor group S historic guys at Phillip Island a few weeks before. No matter how good if you cant see you cant see. :D

Fn 1 guys ---supposed to be the best in the world and cant find the rain line --like a bunch of Morris dancers at a pig roast --- region racers do better and they pass --ed

geez --you race for 35 years --do they call you Ed the racer??? no ----restore 6 or 7 cars ---do they call you Ed the car restorer ??? no ---but make one shape craft mistake AND --- your branded a shape crafter --------------------------------heres a car in Edinburgh that lives with a Jag xk140 fixed head coups that is race prepared --lives among Porches -Alphas -Lancias -Astins - V8 MGs etc etc and the guys arm wrestle to see who gets to back it out in the lane -----ed

I don't want to prattle on too much on this but we want to be careful about the content posted here. I like to check lotuselan.net at lunch when I am at work. I used to be able to go to some of the Elise sites but they are almost all blocked from our company network because of objectionable content that worked its way in. I wouldn't like to lose access to this site except from my home computer.

I do my own machining but by chumming up to the right people I have keys to the prototype shop!
