Quick release steering wheel

At the insistence of my son, I am going to go back on the track in the Elan. I am not quite a spry as I was when I raced the car first time around, and I am finding it tricky getting in and out as the front roll cage upright blocks the doorway. That and the high sides on the bucket seat make me wonder if I could get out in a hurry if I needed to.
I think the answer would be a removable steering wheel. Does anyone know of a quick release boss that fits the Triumph steering column splines without needing to be welded? I searched the forum, and it seems they did exist, but the link to the supplier is dead.
Any help would be very welcome.
Andy.

I've bought several QRs from Schroeder Racing Products for the Elan application. They didn't list an Elan spec, I just gave them the shaft dimensions and made them to suit. High quality, tight spline fit.
But just looking it appears they have been absorbed by racingbars.com. Not apparent if they still make the QR products.

Please post the result of your search when done (possibly including photos, hub ans wheel position once installed compared to stock), I'm sure this would be of interest to a number of people (starting with myself )

Thanks all.
I can't find a bolt on quick release fitting for the Triumph spline on the Elan. I think I am going to have to go down a homebrew route.
Rimmer sell an aluminium boss to fit the triumph spline, and Demon Tweeks / eBay sell quick release fittings. The trick is going to be to match the two. The Demon Tweeks fittings are in the £100s, eBay in the £20s. If I am going to have to hack it about, I think I will start with the eBay and see where I go from there. I will post pictures when I have made some progress.

Try Meteor Motorsports, this QR boss is suitable for the Triumph steering column. I fitted this to my son in law’s hillclimb Caterham a couple of years ago and is very good. Comes with the modified upper column assembly. This QR has the advantage of locating on balls, not on splines so no rapid wear and the fitting action is any position followed by rotation.
