Phillip Island 2014

Had a great week end. The Elan ran perfectly, the driver was a little slow. Photo is about the only time I was ahead of Geoff in his TR6 the whole weekend

Really need to take the exit of Honda faster and get back on the power earlier. The Elan in a RH corner is so much faster with my weight on that side and I need to use that better to compensate for the loss on the left hand corners. Unfortunately all our circuits have more left hand corners :(

Looks nicely balance Rohan. Local events for me this year as we tune the car, I will bring the 26R to PI next year definitely.

Cheers

It was a great meeting with over 500 entries and 54 in production sports group Sa and Sb ( post war to 1968)

They had the Brabham F1 world championship Cooper and Repco Brabham plus his 71 Brabham BT12 Offenhauser Indy car on display -- they all used the same Triumph front uprights as the Elan -- I wonder if he used grease or oil

cheers
