for all youse over there across the pond --- the SCCA is broadcasting their runoffs on line Sept 24 25 26 ----on -----WWW.SPEEDCASTTV.COM-- worth getting up or staying up for --the best club racers in the country giving their all for a medal -good close high caliber stuff and full grids ----ed --

Ed, I'm in Roswell, Ga., about an hour from Road Atlanta. I went to the Runoffs many times between '70 and '85. Then the kids came....... I'll have to pull out my pics to see if I was there in '84.

we were there with a lotus 7 from Ohio so as both my chum and I both had 7s so we were pressed into service as crew --but the other drivers figured they would beat the crap out of the 7 to eliminate him --by lap one the fenders were gone and the car was looking a little second hand -- eventually the motor blew up ---the partner - was the distributor for Brilliantine beer and came with truck load ---so even though every one makes fun of American beer if you drink enough of the truck load it does the job --- :lol: --ed
