The previous owner of my elan +2S 130/4 was fitted with a five wire single motor pop up system but not wired up. I’ve searched the form and found several suggestions and now completely confused.
If I can have some help please with a simple diagram to follow with options.

Do you know who made them, that might assist.

Looks like the Mk1 MR2 system that I'm fitting to my +2 at the moment. Do you have any more Toyota bits with the car (retract control box and light switch)?
Here's a picture of mine at the proving-it-will-work stage:-

The wiring to the motor is as follows:-
White/blue is +12v motor supply
White/black is earth to the motor
Yellow, blue & red wires control the two 'park' positions. (Raised & lowered).

To check the motor is working you can apply 12v to the White/Blue and earth the White/Black .KEEP YOU HANDS WELL OUT OF THE WAY OF THE MOTOR AND LINKAGE. IT WON'T STOP FOR YOU........

Now that Rob has reported back that his light pods are moving I'll update this.
The circuit shown above is based on that used in the Reliant SS1 however we have found that Toyota motors have a different arrangement of the diodes internal to the motors leading to them requiring the +12v to be applied to the red wire, the blue and yellow wires providing the earth path, see below.
Anybody planning on using either of these circuits needs to check the diode orientation within the motor that they intend to use..
