How does the trip odometer reset

I am not sure if it is the same on the +2, by on my S3 Elan, there is a shaft from the speedo pointing downwards that emerges under/behind the bottom edge of the dash, and this is rotated to reset the trip odometer

Turn it clockwise, pushing up slightly
