1972 plus 2 value ?

Hi all, I am looking to sell my car which I have owned for 7 years. It's a reliable car but far from pristine. Paint work looks good from 10 yards but up close has a few glaze cracks and some blistering. Chrome work and general items are ok but far from perfect. Engine starts and runs well but leaks a little oil. Car drives well. Interior is tidy but not original. 5 speed gearbox is good, was rebuilt at Mattys around 3k miles ago. What I'm looking for is an estimate of its value? I appreciate its not easy to value but any views are welcome. Thanks Ian .

Do you have any Pictures etc?

Which model +2 is it?

What condition is the Chassis in?

A running Twin cam engined +2 would start at 4-5k for a rough one all the way upto 15-20k for a nice one.

Will try and post pics. Chassis is good, was replaced around 20,000 miles ago. Car is looked after by a good mechanic with lotus knowledge. As I said it drives well but is a bit worn visually. Pretty though!

I would think a 130/5, as this sounds like it is, in running road legal order with a reasonably recent chassis must be worth in the region of ?10-12k.
