I can't wait to see it on the road... Looks stunning. You can also be confident that it will stay that way. Two years after Frank's attention, and a full year out in the open, the paintwork on mine is still superb. The only paintwork blemishes on mine are entirely my fault....

Innes,

May I add that the paint job just looks simply superb and is obviously a great advertisement for Option 1.

Hope the refit etc goes together ok.

Those pic's don't half bring back memories. 5 Option I guys and I lifted my Sprint body onto a small flatbed truck and I screw fixed (with L O N G Screws) down through the mounting holes into bearers (6"x 2") to keep it in place. No straps!

I can also report that after about 4.5 k mls since resto' the paintwork is still superb. Some 'use' marks now but thats going to happen if you use the car.

I just got my bonnet back from Frank after a repair required when I tripped and threw the bonnet across the front of the car and into the wall.... :? :? Hurt myself too. Took me about 20 mins to get onto my feet, but I was more worried about the car. I could not bear to look. The bonnet was the only damage..

Your car looks just fantastic Innes. I would love to see it sometime.. And if I can help please let me know. I'm down in Fife.

Thanks for all the comments I couldn't be more pleased with the finish, as for rebuilding the car, that'll have to wait till I finish my Uni exams end of this month, hopefully have the car running this summer but maybe a bit optimistic.
Also looks like I'll be eating beans on toast till the cows come home as I've spent up my university bursary on the paint  (Normal living standards are over-rated anyway...)
