Great line-up, lovely nostalgic picture. Love Elans, like mokes and passed my test in a MK2 Cortina

I came across this press photograph of a LHD Euro spec FHC Sprint some time ago. It is clearly an early Sprint from the bonnet bulge and silver wheels, as well as having an early style placement of the rear gold decal.
I have only seen a small number of these press shots where the word Sprint has been placed on the front grill; it was used in the Sprint brochure though on a RHD car and I also have a photo of a lagoon blue over white Sprint similarly plated.
This photo would have been taken in late 1970 or, more likely, early 1971 and probably by Monitor Press for Lotus. I like the way the sidelights look so bright!

Anyone know the dealership?

Hi Tim, I don't recognise the far background in the S3 photo but there was a dealer near Southport Lancs that i drove past occasionaly years ago that were Lotus and Alfa Romeo dealers.

And these 2-photographs were taken in the French/Italian Alps - on the way back to Staffordshire from a 3-week holiday to Nice, Monaco, etc - in late July 78.
250-miles each day without complaint from car or occupants: brilliant!

Would love to buy this S3SE back. It is on the road according to DVLA but where? This shot was taken in the late '70's after returning home from honeymoon after an adventure in Innsbruck in Austria where I had to change the head gasket.

That second picture is great, was it deliberately parked up to look like a perfect oversteer moment?

Can't really remember Steve, why I parked it like that. Possibly because it might make a good photo. Guess the picture really needs smoke coming off the rear tyres.
I do remember that there was no traffic at all (zero)!
Ken, the wife has never been called a nun before, and she's not sure whether to take it as a complement or not.
