Trivia - street called Lotus Elan drive

By accident I found a street on google maps called "Lotus Elan Drive" in Las Vegas USA. Has anybody ever been there or know why the streets here were named after cars? There's also an "Aston Martin" drive nearby.

With Beretta Court and Lumina Court adjacent. Why on Earth did they pick those two crappy cars???

I believe the street was a checkpoint and photo op for a gimmick road rally during the West Coast Lotus Meet or LOG in Las Vegas several years ago.
There is no cure for Lotus, only treatment.

It's been mentioned on here before. There also a housing estate near the factory with Lotus themed names. The reason for that is a lot more obvious than this one thou.

Slightly off topic and no "Lotus" ref but I saw a TV show the other day of a geezer on a bike riding through Wales. A UK road route probably known to several on here already

A lifelong friend of mine, my mother's best friend's daughter (closest to a sister I ever had), is named Élan.
