Elites are still stunningly beautiful, in my opinion probably the most beautiful car ever designed. One of the few cars on my bucket list. It's a real shame the driving dynamics & NVH don't match the styling.
The Matty 95,000GBP car has been through a stunning restoration, I doubt if the owner is ahead...
Compared to many classics (E-types, Aston Martin DBx) Elans have lagged the market. The recent surge in prices (especially Sprints) catches us up somewhat...
Interesting discussion about whether it's a good thing or not; But the one thing I would say is it make it more likely that unobtainable parts will be manufactured again.
