Tachometer troubles

PostPost by: KevJ+2 » Sun Mar 29, 2015 3:06 pm

Well....today I have tried to test the new spiyda board, step by step as per videos.
I have absolutely no movement on the tacho when connected. As advised, I swapped over the black and reds as shown but nothing!
I have checked all I can with a meter and full 12 volts is getting to the board via a good battery. The Hz signal from my laptop was also connected at full volume. Has anyone had this problem?
Any suggestions as to what to check further would be appreciated.
Kev.

Thanks Tony,
I talked to Chris and apparently my tacho movement is to blame, so I am now after a replacement (see wanted section).
