your +2 is drop dead gorgeous. Like many others, I have shafts on the P2's, no problems so far. And getting rid of that rubber band effect on take off is a good thing.

Mike thanks for the info and comment on the car. I have to confess I have some other classic cars but the Lotus Elan is really my favourite.

I fittted some new drivers window flocked rubber channel the other day and I reflected on this is a 70's +2S car and had electric windows and door opening red light warning with also a lamp at the bottom for occupant entry........maybe everyday items on many cars today but it was real luxury car accessories back then.
