What's a bunch of old mangle gears worth ?

Not sure whether I should be buying these and putting them away for a rainy day.
Reasonable price? ( NZ$400 = GBP200).

Any thoughts?

For those of you who don't read, and remember, as much trivia as I do, the "bunch of old mangle gears" was how Colin Chapman used to refer to Mike Hewland's gearboxes.......

A few years ago i paid A$500 for a complete Elan box with the semi close ratio gears in good condition and A$200 for a complete cortina box with the wide ratio gears in unknown condition to add to my long term future needed obsolete spare parts stock. This puts the semi close gear set worth $200 to $300 back then

I also have a gear set like that which I replaced with a quaiffe gear set - unfortunately the second gear is missing a few teeth on both the layshaft and output shaft

cheers
