Hood and tonneau

Were these all the same size throughout production, or were there changes between different years

As no-one else has answered, S1 and S2 shared the same hood and all-over tonneau cover. S3 and S4 shared the same hood but different from S1/2 because of the differences in the early and later doors and body shape. Tonneaux for S3/4 were a short one to form the hood cover when it is stored in its tray and a rare all-over tonneau which I believe was an aftermarket item. Having said that, all S4s had a stud each side by the windscreen corner for an all-over tonneau.

The full tonneau was an optional extra on Elans.

Surprisingly the tonneau on my S3 fits my Sprint perfectly. A couple of years ago I picked up a NOS tonneau, it even had a Lotus tag with the PN, that too fitted both cars perfectly.
