Dan did you have L2 or CPL2 cams - The L2 cams were a longer duration approx 300 degrees and 0.35 cam lift which gave more top end but lacked mid-range torque compared to the QED 360 / Lotus D type Sprint / CPL2 cam which are all about 270 degrees and 0.36 cam lift ( 0.35 valve lift) and all should give essentially identical performance.

cheers

Mine were L2. I don't have the specs handy (in Cayman Islands rights now), but QED's website is very good, or you can always call. They have very good service. Mine arrived in USA within a day or two of being ordered and postage was reasonable. All the bes, Dan

When I initially looked into this it was the cost that put me off. But if I had the money I would get some QED 360 cams. I have had the pleasure of driving a plus 2 in a similar state of tune to mine but with these cams fitted. So much more torque and all through the revs too. Id like to drive a big block 420 spec as a comparison but at about ?1500 possibly more these days, and thats just for the top end, its a little steep for me. It really makes the zetec conversion look value for money.
I know it doesn't answer the current questions being asked with reference to cam specs. To get these I looked at web sites but strangely enough I didn't get QED specs.

All I can add to the recent thread revival is the QED 360 spec cams in a standard but fuel injection equipped twink is a pretty good bet.

For interest i have added a couple of pages from my '75 notebook. Obviously the QED notes in red were added later, about nine years ago.

For me I just click on the image and it magnifies.

Or is it my scribble that you can't read?

It was just for interest. I wouldn't rely on it, especially the likes of the machining to be done on the spring pockets (first page far right in red). I seem to have two dimensions for the L1 and L2 lift as well???
