Really? This is great news! Not that I expect to rebuild the engine as it has been done recently but it's good to know for peace of mind! (honestly I have mixed feelings about rebuilt engines when you don't really know how it has been done. The seller has all the invoices but still, I don't really trust the so called specialists ... Well, some might be real specialists, so let's hope for the best!)

As for the lattice work, I don't really know what rebate I should ask, I will have to think about that ...

The floor part in my Sprint looks totally different. It is a specially strengthened and structured to support the seat rails. It seems someone has attached a flat sheet of wood or whatever ? Check if the car body has touched ground, quite often the fiberglass will crack and split at the outer edge exactly underneath the steel bar. This is a pain to repair and in very bad cases the entire bar/framework is pushed upwards and after a while it may expose cracks in the front wing like this :

Thank you crypto!
Well, I just looked at a few photos and apparently some are flat and some (most?) have a splined surface indeed
Like these ones (not(?) sprints though):

However this one looks flat (not a sprint either):

And this one too:

Any idea? (FYI, the one I may buy looks like a real sprint shell as it has the lip under the rear valence, which is apparently only present on the sprint shells if I understood correctly)

There seem to be differences in the floor pattern but none of them are really flat. The outer 5 cm at the sill are pretty much the same on everyone.
In your photo I can see the rear screw of the seat rail coming out, but can't see the front one ?
In 50 years of car life everything can happen, good luck !
