Winter Walk Reveals Barn Find Sprint

PostPost by: trw99 » Fri Jul 19, 2013 10:18 pm

Looks to me like Neil Myers bought the car off Paul Clugston and now hopes to make a turn selling it on.

Who paid over ?50,000 for a Sprint? Talk about talking up the price!

As long as it's just talking up the price...

I asked a couple of pertinent questions on ebay. Assuming the wrong answers/no answers come back I'll let you know.

"I have to tell you now that no such undertaking has been received, and that
consequently this country is at war with xxxx."

Note the names of sellers quoted in this thread and proceed with caution in the future.

But the current ad says engine and chassis never removed. I'm confused!

How can one proceed in the past?

I wonder how the seller established the bore diameter as he says its is still standard size.

eBay are coy in their wording, 'No questions or answers have been posted', There might have been dozens of questions but the seller only has to show them if they choose. In fact they can give different answers to the inquirers even if the questions are similar, its all part of the fun.
