+2 rear defogger

Does anyone have an Elan +2 with an intact rear defogger?

Is it made of micro wires or similar to current defogger grids.

Has anyone replaced their grid? How was it accomplished?
Thanks

Mine's mostly intact although some problem when went to remove tinting as the
defogger is on the inside of the glass--it seems to be finely painted on
almost like those kits you can buy to repair them--not really wire but metallic
paint it seems. Gordon Sauer 72 +2S/130

Your observations are correct. Most defoggers are silk screened "conductive
paint" then baked on.
