Hi All

Does anyone know where I can source Lotus colours in an aerosol paint
tin. My Plus 2 was painted a few years ago by someone who painted it
too thickly in places and a few "bald" patches have appeared. I love
driving the car and am not really bothered about perfect paint but
would like to at least cover the white bits!

I live in Herts.

Try HMG Paints in Manchester www.hmgpaint.com. They do cellulose by mail order and I'm fairly sure that they will put some into an aerosol for you.

Hi Gents

Thanks to Martin and Simon for the information on getting hold of some
aerosel paint.

Alas when visiting the engine bay to check the paint number, there is
not one stamped on the plate. All the rest of the data is there so it
is probably a 60's oversight. The yellow is the one you see a lot of
Plus 2's wearing i.e the bright Lotus yellow. Could anyone with such a
car post the paint code for me?

(I have checked with the person who painted the car 10 years ago and
they did use the original paint code to re-paint it (but no longer had
a record alas).

If you go to FILES and scroll most of the way down, there is a file
named PAINT CODES.xls.

I have an LO7, which is bright yellow. The other yellow, Bahama
Yellow is much softer.
