exhaust system on my +2 is rusted together

I am looking for some advice on how to disconnect the pieces of the
exhaust system as rust has pretty much fused them together. I removed
the clamps holding the intermediate pipe to the downpipe and holding
the intermediate pipe to the muffler. I then sprayed these two joints
with a penetrating oil that's supposed to break through the rust - I
think it's called Gunk. I have sprayed several times over the course of
a few days. I am still not able to budge the intermediate pipe off. Any
other thoughts on breaking the rust bond?

I thought Gunk was just a de-greaser where you put it on oily/greasy
parts then wash it with water, maybe they also make penertrating oil?
I've found the best way to seperate exhaust pipes is with an oxy
tourch or heat of some kind, you do ofcourse need some sort of heating
tourch.

Kroll Oil is great; it needs a good soak overnight (so do I sometimes). It
comes in an orange can; it is used more by pipe fitters than mechanics.

Heat usually works very well
The problem is sometimes caused when clamps have been overtightened
and have shaped a groove into the two pipes tending to lock them
together.
Rust, and the above problem can sometimes be overcome by hammering
around the joint with one or even two opposing hammers on opposite
sides of the joint.
Once you have some movement wriggling and twisting will usually finish
the job
