How to adjust those spax dampers ?

I will just chip in here Obviously you have bought the wrong adjustment knob, but there is a silver lining. It looks like you could alter the setting with an adjustable spanner, or a spanner that is a very good fit on the raised tang.
Are you sure they are Spax dampers. They look like they are Koni Sport dampers, but could be wrong. Which could also be the reason you bought the wrong adjuster.

They don't look like my Spax but the Knob does. I use a small socket and extension fitted in the Knob

Stupid me !
You are right Leslie they are Koni !!
I’m so used to « yellow Spax » and « red Koni » I didn’t noticed it !
