New "toy": Ranger/Bendpack BL5000-XL

Well I finally treated my self to a car lift after thinking about it for quite some time.

I considered a max jack and ez lift but the quick jack won out on easy of use to price. I went for the BL5000-XL model so it would work with my daily driver and the biggest range of cars.

For lifting the +2 I made up some large spreaders. Each one is two 2 x 4 joined together that run just longer than the lift with floor foam mating on top for cushioning. Also plan to us these with the daily driver as it's actually not quite long enough to line up the jacking points on my daily driver.

Bought the 12v powered unit as don't have many outlets in the garage and it's more flexible. Especially if I move to a country that isn't 110v/60 hz. Plan to buy a new small jump pack to power it.

Seem to lift the car well, lift height with spreader is about ~20". Fairly quick to get there too. So far so good...
