Engine bay holes

PostPost by: drtarkir » Sun Jul 26, 2015 8:23 pm

In a previous post I talked about wanting to clean the various unneeded holes in my engine bay. I do want to glass them over as I think it will look much cleaner. To further that process I have made drawings of the firewall, right fender and the left fender with all the holes that my car has. I have made an attempt to label them as best I could. Pitch in and help me complete the notes. I will post the final lists for all to use.

Car is a 72 +2S Federal.

OK, I'll start. Holes 22 and 28 on the firewall diagram From my pics I can see that they have bolt heads on the engine side indicating that they hold something behind the dash. What do they connect to?

I think 11 and maybe 12 + 13 on the third diagram so for mounting clips for wiring harness and vacuum pipe for brake booster.

Id suggest adding a Prefix letter for each of the diagrams of using unique number of each of them to avoid confusion (e.g. 101, 201 301 etc).
