Plus 2 Windscreen

What is the origin of the +2 windscreen? I had in mind from a Ford Capri, but cannot find anything in the archives…

The photo shows the consul classic, the capri was the two door coupe. My father had one of each in the 70’s The screen was the same on both models and was used in the plus 2

Thanks. Everyone is at the same price pretty well. I just happened to see that ‘Capri’ screens are £30 cheaper that prompted the question…

£265 heated and I think 180 odd laminated before shipping and tax.

Berni, I don’t think tinted is currently available. As above, heated or non-heated are the choices.

Uroglass have a 'few' screens for the +2 that have a blue tint across the top....£285.

Cool!

When our local Lotus club did a group buy a while ago they were not available, at least from the UK supplier we used.

I ended up using a graduated tint strip applied on the inside surface which looked OK in a gray/ black colour. Avoided the reflective finish films commonly available on eBay as didn’t want that look. Unfortunately I can’t find a valid link to the tint strip I did buy out of the UK.
