Lotus Elan and Lotus Elan Plus 2 Forums

This vehicle, mentioned in a post in 2020, and featured on TV was owned by me from approximately March 1983 to May 1986. It was in its original red with black/chrome wheels and a black interior.
I drove it as a regular everyday car whilst serving in the RAF.
If the current owner is interested in its history during that time I would be happy to provide all that I can remember as I know how important it is to know where it’s been.

I bought KOO38J from Matt and kept it for 10 years. I completed various mechanical projects during this time but did not have the resources to perform the body restoration so had to let it go to a new owner to help fund a house move! It was fascinating to see the restoration on TV but I wish they had kept the original Carnival red. Good to see that it’s still on the road.
